Overview
QuickFit4u ("QuickFit4u", "we", "us", or "our") operates a platform that lets members book hourly access to partner gyms, and lets gym owners list their available hours. This policy explains what personal data we collect through our website and app, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
By creating an account or using QuickFit4u, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly, and a small amount of information generated by using the service:
Account information
- Name, email address, and phone number
- Password (stored as a one-way hash — we never store or can see your plain-text password)
- Account role (member or gym owner)
- Profile photo, if you choose to add one
Gym owner information
- Gym name, address, city, description, facility tags, and photos
- Bank/payout details, used only to send you your share of bookings
Booking and usage information
- Bookings you make: gym, date, time slot, and amount paid
- QR check-in scans and check-in timestamps
- Approximate location, only if you grant location permission, used to show nearby gyms
- Search terms you enter to find gyms
Technical information
- Device and browser type, IP address, and log data, collected automatically for security and to keep the service reliable
How we use it
- To create and manage your account, and verify it's really you when you log in
- To show you nearby or searched-for gyms and let you complete bookings
- To process payments and send booking confirmations and QR check-in codes
- To let gym owners see and manage bookings, slots, and payouts for their own gym
- To send you emails about your account, bookings, or one-time codes (OTP) for signup and password reset
- To detect fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms & Conditions
- To improve the service — for example, understanding which cities or gyms are most requested
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to show you third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
We share the minimum information needed with:
- The gym you book with — your name and booking details, so they can confirm your visit at check-in.
- Payment processor (Razorpay) — to securely process your payment. See the Payments section below.
- Email delivery provider — to send account verification codes and booking confirmation emails.
- Law enforcement or regulators, only if legally required to do so, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of QuickFit4u, our users, or the public.
We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Payments
All payments on QuickFit4u are processed by Razorpay, a licensed payment aggregator regulated by the Reserve Bank of India. When you pay for a booking, your card, UPI, or net banking details are entered directly into Razorpay's secure checkout — QuickFit4u never receives or stores your full card number, CVV, or UPI PIN. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with a payment reference ID, which we use to confirm your booking.
Data retention
We keep your account and booking information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution requirements. You can request deletion of your account at any time — see "Your rights" below.
Your rights and choices
- Access and correction: you can view and edit your profile details from within the app.
- Deletion: you can request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us (see below). We'll delete or anonymize your data except where we're required to retain it (for example, transaction records for tax purposes).
- Location permission: you can grant or revoke location access at any time from your device settings; the app still works without it, using manual search instead.
- Marketing emails: transactional emails (OTPs, booking confirmations) can't be turned off, as they're necessary for the service to work. Any optional marketing emails will include an unsubscribe link.
Deleting your QuickFit4u account
You can delete your QuickFit4u account and all associated data at any time directly in the app: go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This immediately and permanently removes your profile, bookings, reviews, and notifications.
If you can't access the app, email us at quickfit4u.workplace@gmail.com from your registered email address with the subject "Delete My Account," and we'll delete it within 7 business days.
Payment records processed by Razorpay are retained as required for tax and accounting purposes even after account deletion.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including password hashing, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access controls that limit who inside our team can view user data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected users if a breach materially affects your data, as required by law.
Children's privacy
QuickFit4u is intended for users aged 18 and older, consistent with the minimum age for entering into a payment agreement in India. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through a notice in the app. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
